Aceste amîndouă semne arată slăbiciune a trupului. N-are linişte a sufletului său cum n-are linişte apa.”

I must have left my house at eight because I always do
My train, I’m certain, left the station just when it was due
I must have read the morning paper going into town
And having gotten through the editorial, no doubt I must have frowned
I must have made my desk
Around a quarter after nine
With letters to be read
And heaps of papers waiting to be signed
I must have gone to lunch
At half past 12 or so
The usual place, the usual bunch
And still on top of this, I’m pretty sure it must have rained
The day before you came
I must have lit my seventh cigarette at half past two
And at the time, I never even noticed I was blue
I must have kept on dragging
Through the business of the day
Without really knowing anything
I hid a part of me away
At five, I must have left
There’s no exception to the rule
A matter of routine
I’ve done it ever since I finished school
The train back home again
Undoubtedly, I must have read the evening paper then
Oh yes, I’m sure my life was well within its usual frame
The day before you came
I must have opened my front door at eight o’clock or so
And stopped along the way to buy some Chinese food to go
I’m sure I had my dinner watching something on TV
There’s not, I think, a single episode of Dallas that I didn’t see
I must have gone to bed
Around a quarter after ten
I need a lot of sleep
And so I like to be in bed by then
I must have read a while
The latest one by Marilyn French or something in that style
It’s funny, but I had no sense of living without aim
The day before you came
And turning out the light
I must have yawned and cuddled up for yet another night
And rattling on the roof I must have heard the sound of rain
The day before you came

She leads a lonely life
She leads a lonely life
When she woke up late in the morning light
And the day had just begun
She opened up her eyes and thought
Oh what a morning
It’s not a day for work
It’s a day for catching tan
Just laying on the beach and having fun
She’s going to get you
All that she wants is another baby
She’s gone tomorrow
Boy all that she wants is another baby yeah
All that she wants is another baby
She’s gone tomorrow
Boy all that she wants is another baby yeah
(All that she wants)
(All that she wants)
So if you are in sight and the day is right
She’s a hunter, you’re the fox
The gentle voice that talks to you
Won’t talk forever
It is a night for passion
But the morning means goodbye
Beware of what is flashing in her eyes
She’s going to get you
All that she wants is another baby
She’s gone tomorrow
Boy all that she wants is another baby yeah
All that she wants is another baby
She’s gone tomorrow
Boy all that she wants is another baby yeah
Another baby yeah
Ohhh
Ohhh
All that she wants is another baby (Another baby yeah)
She’s gone tomorrow
Boy all that she wants is another baby (Another baby yeah)
All that she wants is another baby (Another baby yeah)
She’s gone tomorrow
Boy all that she wants is another baby (Another baby yeah)
All that she wants
All that she wants

”Spin”
Melodie de: Grey Daze

I want to pick up the pieces, so that there’s less complication
So that there’s less conversation and less aggravation
I want to go out alone, man, so that there’s less confrontation
And, man, there’s less association and less company, yeah
I was so frustrated, man, that I was all confused, man
And that I was disillusioned and sick of your friends

Run, don’t walk my way
Don’t look my way, ‘cause I don’t care, oh, no
So, why are you still here?
Why don’t you disappear and spin out of my life? Oh, hey

Why do we have limitation, and, man, why do we have limitation
So that we don’t get very far and so that we don’t climb very high
I can’t handle the indecision, and I can’t watch no more television
And I won’t miss you when you’re gone, ‘cause I know my life will go on

Run, don’t walk my way
Don’t look my way, ‘cause I don’t care, oh, no
So, why are you still here?
Why don’t you disappear and spin out of my life? Oh

I’m awake until the midnight hour
I will try not to lose my mind
I can feel it in the air
It’s like magic
Everybody’s aware
Doing your last minute check
While you’re lighting a cigarette
And you try to be cool
But the fool that’s in you
Plays his games
Listen to the man with the golden voice
Wait for his callin’
So you tell yourself again
This must really be the end of the games
Can you try to be so cool
Just stop thinking that a fool might change
But when the night time comes in
Turns him into another Jack
You hear his voice
And it leads you straight out of time
Listen to the man with the golden voice
Wait for his callin’
Listen to the man
Listen to his callin’
Listen to his callin’
Listen to the man, to the man
Listen to the man, to the man
Listen to the man
Listen to his callin’
Listen to the man
Listen to his callin’
Listen to the man with the golden voice
Wait for his callin’

What’s been happenin’ in your world?
What have you been up to?
I heard that you fell in love, or near enough
I gotta tell you the truth, yeah
I wanna grab both your shoulders and shake, baby
Snap out of it (snap out of it)
I get the feelin’ I left it too late, but, baby
Snap out of it (snap out of it)
If that watch don’t continue to swing
Or the fat lady fancies havin’ a sing
I’ll be here waitin’ ever so patiently
For you to snap out of it
Forever isn’t for everyone
Is forever for you?
It sounds like settlin’ down or givin’ up
But it don’t sound much like you, girl
I wanna grab both your shoulders and shake, baby
Snap out of it (snap out of it)
I get the feelin’ I left it too late, but, baby
Snap out of it (snap out of it)
If that watch don’t continue to swing
Or the fat lady fancies havin’ a sing
I’ll be here waitin’ ever so patiently
For you to snap out of it
Under a spell, you’re hypnotized (ooh)
Darling, how could you be so blind? (Snap out of it)
Under a spell, you’re hypnotized (ooh)
Darling, how could you be so blind?
I wanna grab both your shoulders and shake, baby
Snap out of it (snap out of it)
I get the feelin’ I left it too late, but, baby
Snap out of it (snap out of it)
If that watch don’t continue to swing
Or the fat lady fancies havin’ a sing
I’ll be here waitin’ ever so patiently
For you to snap out of it

Big Star – ”September Gurls” (versuri/lyrics):

September gurls do so much
I was your butch and you were touched
I loved you, well, never mind
I’ve been crying all the time
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad
September gurls, I don’t know why
How can I deny what’s inside?
Even though I’ll keep away
They will love all our days
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad
When I get to bed late at night
That’s the time she makes things right
Ooh, when she makes love to me
September gurls do so much
I was your butch and you were touched
I loved you, well, never mind
I’ve been crying all the time
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad

The drops of rain they fall all over
This awkward silence makes me crazy
The glow inside burns light upon her
I’ll try to kiss you if you let me
(This can’t be the end)
Tidal waves, they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down (it gets me so)
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down (it gets me so)
Your vows of silence fall all over
The look in your eyes makes me crazy
I feel the darkness break upon her
I’ll take you over if you let me
(You did this)
Tidal waves they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down (it gets me so)
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down (it gets me so)
